The Alfred-Danicourt Museum will host an exhibition in the town hall by the Picardian artist Anne Carlier, painter and visual artist who for more than 20 years has produced works inspired by Aboriginal art, on the theme of dreams and using vegetable matter as her primary material. The exhibition will open on the evening of Anzac Day 2018.
During the week preceding the exhibition, the artist, commissioned by the museum, will visit primary schools in Péronne and conduct workshops based on the discovery of Aboriginal art. The works created by the students during these workshops will be exhibited on 19th May during the European Night of the Museums.
Bilingual French / English exhibition. Monday to Friday, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Exceptional opening on Saturday, May 19 from 6 to 10 p.m for the European Night of Museums. Free admission.
