Facing Two Fronts

Facing Two Fronts

Monday 17 September 2018 - 09:30 to Friday 30 November 2018 - 17:00

Facing Two Fronts: the fight for respect and Indigenous Australians at War from the Boer War to the Present. The social impact of military service on Indigenous servicemen, and those left behind, is the central theme of Facing Two Fronts, a National Archives digital exhibition. The story is told through interviews with family members who remember how their relatives were affected by war and discrimination.

Facing Two Fronts will be exhibited at the Sir John Monash Centre from 17 September to 30 November 2018. The exhibition is free and open from 9:30am to 6:00pm (5:00pm from 1 November 2018). For more information on the Sir John Monash Centre, please contact : www.sjmc.gov.au
